It's the late 1990's. John has come to India searching for inner peace, truth and purpose. He revisits the ashram in the Himalayas, where he's been many times before. This time, however, things don't go as planned. He begins to ask himself a lot of questions. In the hope of clearing his mind, John goes hiking in the majestic Himalayas in nearby Manali. His descriptions of the mountain scenery are breathtaking. In the course of his journey, he meets some truly odd characters. Danger, however, is never far away. Will John find the inner peace and purpose he's searching for, or will he end up with more questions than answers?
John R Fyfe is a world traveller who lived in India for various periods between the mid-80s and 1998. There, he experienced a spiritual life in the Himalayas, opened an import business and studied Vedic Astrology. John's first book, The Meaning of Fyfe, the 70's, is the story of all the craziness and absurdities he witnessed while working in a psychiatric hospital. Other books written by John R Fyfe include the controversial The World Full of Lies, An Introduction to Vedic Palmistry. and two children's books, Molly's Missing and Avebury Magic. There is more to come!
Currently based in Montreal, Canada, his home town, John has also lived in Ireland and Colorado.
